Radcliff Wire, Inc. announces groundbreaking for a new addition that will impact our manufacturing process by making room for additional production equipment.
This new area will house our shipping and receiving docks with state of the art loading systems. It will house an extensive rack system for the storage of bulk wire as well as necessary shipping containers.
Also included in this new area will be our new quality testing facility for identifying the temper, tensile and Rockwell of most shaped wire as well our flat and square wire.
We will be able to measure elongation, corner radii, angles, and surface condition of our special shaped wire made of numerous materials such as Stainless Steel, Copper, Brass, Phosphor Bronze, Beryllium, Nickel Silver, Carbon Steel, Music Wire, Chrome Silicon, Chrome Vanadium, Inconel, Monel, Nickel, and Hastelloy.
Our tooling will reside in this area. It will include the special rolls that will produce our special shapes such as triangle shaped, house shaped, diamond shaped, half round shaped, ‘v’ grove shaped, knurled shaped, oval shaped and profile shaped wire.
